Sales Engineer
Technical Sales Engineer, based at the company’s UK
office in Basingstoke and reporting to the UK Sales Manager.
The role is deal with all aspects of the sales process for Data
Translation’s products, both hardware and software. The position requires
both account management and the ability to create new business. This may
include visiting customer’s premises and attending exhibitions to promote
sales of DT products. In all instances, it is expected the company will be
represented in a professional way.

Technical Support Engineer
The role of the Technical Support Engineer is to deal
with all aspects of support for our products both hardware and software.
This role will primarily be responding to pre and post-sales technical
support issues submitted by email, phone fax or letter and assisting the
sales team with technical presentations. This position is office based, but
there may be occasions when support is required at customer sites or
exhibitions.
Knowledge of analog and digital signal along with a broad
electronics background, possibly gained in a test and measurement
environment, is required. Competence in using a high level language would be
an advantage although we would not be looking for a software programmer. Our
products are PC based but the role is very unlikely to be of interest to an
IT professional, as the skills required are quite different. |
